With the roof open and the Tuscan countryside unfolding around you, the journey takes you past vineyards, olive groves, historic villas and medieval castles, combining one of Italy’s most iconic cars with the landscape it has been part of since the 1960s.

The Experience

Behind the Wheel of an Italian Icon

Your journey begins in central Florence, where you meet your tour escort and get acquainted with your vintage Fiat 500. After a short introduction, you take the wheel and follow your guide out of the city towards the rolling countryside south of Florence.

Along the way, you’ll discover the story of the Fiat 500 and the place this little car holds in Italian culture.

Through the Chianti Hills

The route follows quiet Tuscan roads through a landscape of vineyards, olive groves, ancient villas and medieval castles. Several stops are made at scenic viewpoints, giving you time to step out, take photographs and enjoy the countryside before continuing the drive.

A Taste of Tuscany

During the journey, you’ll pause for a small taste of local life. Depending on the season, this may be traditional gelato or a typical Tuscan snack, adding a simple food moment to the drive through the hills.

Beyond the Experience

Up to three guests can travel in each Fiat 500, and children can join the ride free of charge. If you plan to drive, you must be at least 18 years old, carry a valid driving licence and feel confident driving a manual car. A security deposit is required before the experience begins.

The meeting point is Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli 32/r in central Florence, with arrival recommended around fifteen minutes before departure.
