Sardinia: A Two-Hour Horseback Ride along Porto Ferro Beach
Send us your preferred date and group size on WhatsApp for a personalised quote.
You'll ride through the wild coastal landscape of north-western Sardinia, following quiet Mediterranean trails towards the sea before reaching the sands of Porto Ferro. Over two unhurried hours, the route moves between countryside, panoramic viewpoints and the beach itself, creating a beautiful way to experience this part of the island from horseback.
The Experience
Meeting Our Horse
Before setting out, we begin with a short introduction and horse trial, giving us time to become comfortable in the saddle. The experience is designed for both beginners and more confident riders, with the pace adapted to the group.
Through the Coastal Landscape
We leave the stables behind and follow natural trails overlooking the Gulf of Porto Ferro. The route passes through Mediterranean vegetation and open countryside, with views towards the coast and the historic Aragonese tower appearing along the way.
Riding along Porto Ferro Beach
The longer route continues all the way to the beach, where we ride across the sand towards the White Tower. This is the defining moment of the experience: horses, open shoreline and the Sardinian coast stretching out beside us before we return along panoramic trails.

An Invitation
There are few better ways to experience Sardinia’s wilder side than from horseback. We follow quiet trails through the Mediterranean landscape, reach the open coast and continue onto the sand with the sea beside us. Over two hours, the rhythm of the horses and the changing scenery allow us to discover Porto Ferro slowly, naturally and without rush.
We look forward to welcoming you.
