The experience centres around signature tropical creations inspired by the vibrant flavours of the Seychelles. Rather than simply sitting down for a tasting, we take part in the making ourselves, discovering how different flavours and ingredients come together in a balanced cocktail.

With guidance from the mixologists, we learn the techniques behind preparing the drinks before making and enjoying our own creations. It is playful and hands-on, but still relaxed enough to feel like part of a slow afternoon on the island.

The masterclass takes place at Avocet in Anse La Mouche on Mahé. The resort’s current programme schedules the experience in the late afternoon, making it particularly suited to a leisurely pre-dinner moment.
