Engadin: A Slow Stay Experience on an Alpine Farm
High above Scuol, we settle into the quiet of the Lower Engadin, where flowering meadows, mountain views and the gentle presence of farm life surround us.
The Experience
In the Lower Engadin, an organic mountain farm rests above the village, surrounded by forests, meadows and the sweeping contours of the Swiss Alps. Here, we stay close to the land, waking to mountain views and the quiet movements of everyday farm life.
Engadin sheep are part of the farm’s agricultural story, alongside organic vegetables grown on the property and a small farm shop offering produce from the land, including meat, cured sausages, wool and sheepskins. Beyond the farm, the landscape invites us outdoors, with hiking and cycling among the activities available in the surrounding countryside. Forests, wildlife, farm animals and flowering meadows shape the atmosphere, while the nearby National Park region adds to the feeling of being immersed in a quieter, wilder corner of Switzerland.
