The Experience

In the Engadin, the mountains open into a landscape made for exploring slowly. From horseback, we leave the familiar paths behind and experience the countryside from a quieter perspective, surrounded by the valleys and Alpine scenery of this remarkable corner of Switzerland.

Sure-footed horses carry us through the landscape in the saddles, allowing the rhythm of the ride to become part of the experience. We can ride for shorter and longer routes. Longer routes extend through different regions, following historic paths past castles, monasteries and changing mountain scenery. Rather than rushing across the landscape, we have time to notice its scale, stillness and natural beauty from the saddle.

An Invitation

There are few ways to experience the mountains quite like travelling through them on horseback. Away from hurried roads and busy viewpoints, we find a gentler connection with the Engadin—following trails, listening to the rhythm of the horses and watching the Alpine landscape slowly change around us. It is a simple way of travelling, shaped by fresh mountain air, open country and the pleasure of moving through it at a slower pace.
