We step into the quieter side of the Douro, where vines climb the hills above the river and wine is produced on an intimate scale. Here, the experience is deliberately unhurried: time to walk the terraces, understand the land and settle in with a selection of wines shaped by this remarkable valley.

The Experience

A Walk Among the Terraces

Before the glasses are poured, we take time to experience the vineyard landscape itself. The estate sits on the right bank of the Douro, close to Pinhão, surrounded by the steep terrain characteristic of the region. Its own invitation is simple: book a tasting, walk the terraces and allow the valley to reveal itself slowly.

Wine with a Sense of Place

The wines are produced in limited quantities, with most grapes grown on the estate itself. Regenerative viticulture, biodiversity and minimal intervention guide the approach in both vineyard and cellar, allowing individual vintages and the character of the fruit to remain at the centre of the wine.

A Tasting at Our Own Pace

We can choose between several tasting experiences. The introductory selection features three wines, while the broader estate collection brings together five wines and a Port. There is also a dedicated Port tasting featuring Vintage Port and a 10 Year Tawny.

What Awaits

  • A wine experience in the heart of the Douro Valley
  • Time among the estate’s vineyard terraces
  • A choice of several tasting selections
  • Limited-production, estate-focused winemaking
  • Regenerative vineyard practices
  • Views across the surrounding Douro landscape

Beyond the Experience

For those wishing to explore the wines more deeply, the different tasting formats allow us to choose between a simple introduction, a Port-focused experience or a more extensive journey through the estate collection. The property is around five kilometres from Pinhão, making the visit easy to weave into a slower day exploring this part of the valley.

An Invitation

This is an afternoon for slowing down among the vines—walking the terraces, looking across the Douro and discovering how the landscape finds its way into each glass. Rather than rushing from one wine to the next, we have time to notice the differences, understand the craft and simply enjoy being somewhere so closely connected to the land.
