We discover the Douro from the saddle, following quiet trails through the vineyards of a countryside estate. Surrounded by vines and the rolling landscape beyond, the experience gives us an intimate way to slow down and take in the scenery—away from the roads and closer to the land that shapes this celebrated wine region.

Our ride begins within the estate before continuing directly into its vineyards. Rather than following a busy route, we move through the vines at an easy pace, surrounded by the characteristic countryside of the Douro.

Quiet Moments Along the Way

The one-hour ride includes pauses to appreciate the surrounding landscape. These small stops allow us to take in the vineyard views before continuing along the trail, making the experience feel unhurried and closely connected to its setting.

An Intimate Ride

With a maximum of four participants, the experience remains small and personal. Coaching is included, although basic riding knowledge is required, making this particularly suited to guests who already feel comfortable around horses and want to experience the Douro countryside from a different perspective.

Beyond the Experience

The ride requires advance reservation and is subject to availability. Guests should have basic riding knowledge, and children under ten cannot participate. The experience can sit beautifully within a slower day in the Douro, leaving time before or afterwards to explore the surrounding wine country.
