Algarve: A Vineyard Lunch with Wine Tasting

In the countryside near Estômbar, where the Monchique mountains meet the Atlantic landscape, you'll gather at a historic family wine estate surrounded by orange groves, old olive trees and vines. The estate dates back to the early nineteenth century and remains in the same family today, giving this experience a genuine sense of place and continuity.

We arrive in the quieter Algarve countryside and settle into the landscape of the estate, where vineyards stretch between olive trees and citrus groves. Rather than a formal tasting room experience, the afternoon is centred around sitting together at the farmer's table and enjoying the wines in the place where they are produced.

A Long Lunch at the Table

Lunch is served as part of the experience, giving us time to slow down and enjoy the surroundings rather than simply moving from one wine to the next. The atmosphere is relaxed and rooted in the rhythms of the estate, making the meal as much a part of the experience as the wine itself.

Wines of the Algarve

Alongside lunch, we are guided through a selection of wines produced by the estate. The tasting introduces us to Algarve winemaking while allowing us to experience the wines in their natural setting, surrounded by the vines and countryside that shape them.
