Our experience begins with a gentle walk through a picturesque wine estate in the Penedès region, where vineyards, woodland and historic Catalan farmhouses shape the landscape. Along the way, we discover the history of El Montmell and the traditions that have shaped this peaceful corner of Catalonia.

Meeting the Alpacas

One of the most memorable moments is meeting the estate's beautiful Suri alpacas, who live in a protected, semi-free environment surrounded by vineyards and forests. We have the opportunity to observe these curious animals up close, learn about their personalities and habits, and discover the estate's commitment to their care and protection.

A Wine Tasting in the Countryside

After spending time with the alpacas, we continue to the winery for a tasting of different locally produced wines. We discover the estate's approach to organic winemaking, exploring the flavours and characteristics of its grape varieties while appreciating the connection between the surrounding landscape and the wines it produces.
