Tuscany: A Rustic Retreat in the Hills with Horses

Set among the hills and valleys of Tuscany, we find a countryside retreat shaped by nature, movement, and a distinctly rustic Tuscan character. Surrounded by meadows and woods, we stay close to a medieval village, while feeling immersed in the landscape beyond it. The atmosphere is warm and informal, with traditional interiors, panoramic views, a garden, and spaces designed for lingering after a day outdoors.

Life with Horses

For us, horses are at the heart of the experience. The surrounding countryside lends itself naturally to trail riding, with routes available for both experienced riders and beginners. We can choose from lessons and shorter rides to half-day and full-day excursions, with the possibility of spending several days exploring the Tuscan landscape on horseback. 

The Outdoors

We can spend our days moving through a landscape of wooded paths, hills, valleys, and quiet countryside. Horse riding is not the only way to experience it: mountain biking, gravel cycling, road cycling, hiking, and trekking are also available, with routes extending directly from the property. 

Tuscan Food and Long Views

After time outdoors, we return to simple Tuscan cooking and views across the Maremma hills. The restaurant focuses on traditional dishes, fresh ingredients, homemade pasta, local vegetables, and regional wines, with both indoor dining rooms and a panoramic terrace.
