Saint-Tropez: A Secluded Villa Above the Côte d’Azur

Set on a peaceful hillside above the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, we find a Mediterranean retreat surrounded by gardens and pine trees, with sweeping views across the water. The atmosphere feels distinctly Riviera—elegant but relaxed, with terraces opening towards the sea and much of daily life naturally drawn outdoors. Although the harbour and energy of Saint-Tropez are close by, up here the pace feels softer. We can begin with breakfast overlooking the bay, spend an afternoon beside the pool and return to the terrace as the light changes over the Mediterranean.

Above the Bay

The view quietly shapes the entire stay. From the hillside, the Mediterranean stretches across the horizon, appearing again from many of the terraces and sea-facing rooms.

We can spend long hours without going particularly far: reading beneath a parasol, swimming with the coastline in the distance or simply finding a shaded corner overlooking the water. It is this separation from the busier coast below that gives the retreat much of its character.

Long Afternoons by the Water

The pool becomes a natural centre of the day, surrounded by a sun terrace and overlooking the sea. We can swim in the morning before the warmth settles in, return for lunch beside the water, and linger into the afternoon with nowhere else we need to be.

For quieter moments, a beauty and wellness space offers massages along with facial and body treatments, available separately. There is also a fitness room for mornings when we feel like adding a little movement to the day.

Between Stillness and Saint-Tropez

One of the pleasures of staying here is being able to choose between retreat and Riviera life. We can remain on the hillside for an entirely unhurried day, then venture towards Saint-Tropez when we want a livelier change of pace.
