Mahé: A Seychelles-Inspired Art Afternoon

Surrounded by the colours and textures of Mahé, we spend a slow afternoon creating something of our own. Guided by a local artist, we translate the island’s tropical landscapes, ocean patterns and natural details onto paper or canvas — a quiet creative pause inspired entirely by the Seychelles.

The Experience

Inspired by the Islands

The Seychelles becomes our palette. Tropical vegetation, vivid ocean tones, island forms and everyday details provide inspiration as we settle into a relaxed, guided art session. No previous experience is needed; the focus is simply on observing, experimenting and enjoying the creative process.

An Afternoon of Making

With gentle guidance along the way, we can explore mediums including watercolour, acrylic painting, drawing or clay. Sessions can be adapted to different interests and abilities, making the experience as relaxed or hands-on as we wish.

Something to Take Home

Rather than choosing a conventional souvenir, we leave with something shaped by our own time on the island — a personal piece of Seychelles-inspired artwork and a small reminder of an afternoon spent creating slowly.
