Beneath the surface of Mahé, a quieter Seychelles reveals itself. We leave the shoreline behind and discover the Indian Ocean on a single breath, learning to move calmly through clear tropical water while coral reefs, granite formations and marine life unfold below us.

The Experience

Learning to Move Beneath the Surface

Our introduction begins slowly, with time dedicated to understanding breathing, relaxation and the foundations of freediving. Rather than chasing depth, the experience is centred around becoming comfortable in the water and discovering how naturally we can move beneath the surface when we learn to relax.

Into the Indian Ocean

With professional guidance, we take what we have learned into Mahé's open water. The island offers a remarkable underwater landscape of coral reefs, enormous granite boulders and tropical marine life, with several locations suitable for those beginning their freediving journey.

One Breath at a Time

We learn the essentials of duck diving, equalisation, body positioning, finning and safe buddying before experiencing our first descents. The introductory course is deliberately tranquil, allowing us to progress at our own pace rather than treating the day as a test of how deep we can go.

Beyond the Experience

For guests who are already certified, guided half-day fun dives are also available, travelling by boat to local reefs, wrecks, granite formations and marine-rich waters around Mahé. Relaxed underwater photography sessions can also be arranged during dives.
