The Experience

Spring arrives gently in the mountains. Beginning near the Alpine Institute, we set out on an easy and slow hike, following paths through peaceful forest while the surrounding peaks rise into view. The slopes here receive plenty of sun, meaning the trail can clear relatively early in the season even while snow continues to trace the mountaintops above.

Along the way, the landscape begins revealing the first colours of summer. Crocuses and dandelions appear among the grass alongside other early wildflowers, bringing small flashes of colour to the mountain scenery. Rather than a demanding trek, this is a gentle opportunity to walk slowly, breathe in the mountain air and experience the Engadin as the landscape begins to change with the season.
