Our experience takes us to a beautifully restored seventeenth-century farmhouse near Salomó, in the Tarragona countryside. With charming stone architecture, peaceful courtyards and a rich winemaking heritage, the estate offers a wonderful setting to escape the city and discover the traditions of rural Catalonia.

The Tradition of a Catalan Calçotada

At the heart of our visit is the traditional calçotada, a beloved Catalan feast celebrating the seasonal harvest of calçots. These tender spring onions are grilled over an open flame, creating their distinctive smoky flavour. Served with rich romesco sauce, we enjoy this delicious tradition in one of the estate's atmospheric historic spaces.
