We stay within a centuries-old Catalan masia tucked between forest and vineyards, where the countryside begins to feel wonderfully removed from Barcelona. Old stone and the character of the original farmhouse meet a quieter, more conscious way of living, with nature shaping much of the experience around us. Mornings begin slowly beneath the trees, food follows the seasons, and afternoons can disappear between gardens, warm waters, and walks through the surrounding landscape. It is a place that encourages us to consume a little less, notice a little more, and settle naturally into the rhythm of the land.

An Old Masia, Reimagined

The story of the house stretches back centuries, and traces of its rural beginnings remain part of the atmosphere today. Rather than separating us from the countryside, the spaces have been shaped around it, bringing natural materials, light, gardens and the surrounding landscape into the experience.

We can move slowly between the old house and its quieter outdoor corners, linger over a morning with nowhere to be, or simply enjoy the feeling of being immersed in nature while Barcelona remains surprisingly close. Sustainability is woven into the way the property operates, from its architecture and energy choices to recycled or reused materials within the rooms.

Between Forests & Vineyards

Beyond the house, we find ourselves within the protected landscapes of the Serralada Litoral, surrounded by woodland and the softer scenery of rural Catalonia. The setting invites us outdoors — for a gentle walk, time beneath the trees, or simply a few quiet hours observing the landscape as the light changes.

Optional seasonal experiences allow us to explore that relationship with nature more deeply, from outdoor yoga and botanical walks to moonlit outings and tastings inspired by the surrounding landscape. We can choose to join in, or leave the day completely open.

A Ritual of Water & Stillness

Well-being here feels closely connected to the atmosphere of the old masia. Within its historic stone spaces, we can retreat into a thermal bathing experience where warm water, low light and quiet create a welcome contrast to the world outside.

Treatments can become part of the stay too, but there is no need to turn well-being into an itinerary. A slow morning, a walk through the forest, an afternoon immersed in warm water, or simply an early night can feel equally restorative.

From the Garden to the Table

Food follows the same connection to place. Seasonal, organic and locally sourced ingredients shape the cooking, with part of the produce coming from the property's own garden. Rather than feeling separate from the countryside experience, meals become another way of understanding it — through what is growing, what is in season, and what the surrounding land can provide.

We come to disappear into the forest for a while, and leave remembering how good it feels to live a little more slowly.
