Hidden within Bali's tropical landscape, we step aboard an elegant wooden boat for a private picnic surrounded by still water and dense jungle. Designed for two, the experience brings together a quiet lake setting, a thoughtfully prepared picnic and the simple pleasure of slowing down somewhere beautifully secluded.

The Experience

Drifting Through the Jungle

We begin beside a serene lake, where a traditional-style wooden boat awaits. Once aboard, the surrounding jungle becomes the backdrop as we drift across the water, away from Ubud’s busier paths. The experience lasts one hour, leaving time to settle into the scenery rather than simply passing through it.

A Picnic for Two

A picnic basket accompanies the journey, filled with gourmet sandwiches, a vegetable hummus dip, fresh fruit and yoghurt with granola. A bottle of sparkling wine completes the setting, turning the boat into an intimate table on the water.

A Quiet Moment on the Water

The experience is particularly suited to couples, with the boat, jungle and dramatic surrounding landscape creating a naturally romantic setting. It can unfold in the softer morning light or later in the afternoon.

Beyond the Experience

Professional photography and drone videography can be arranged separately for those wishing to capture the setting. A shorter boat experience for photographs is also available.
