Algarve: A Slow River Journey with Wine Tasting

You'll step onto the Arade River for a slow journey through a landscape shaped by vineyards, water and centuries of wine culture. Rather than experiencing Algarve wine only from the cellar, this experience follows the river that has long been connected to the region's winemaking story.

The Experience

Along the Arade River

Our journey unfolds on the water, following a route linked to the Phoenicians, who travelled along the Arade more than two thousand five hundred years ago and helped introduce wine to this part of Portugal. The river, surrounding vineyards and distant landscape create a quiet setting in which to discover another side of the Algarve.

Four Algarve Wines

During the experience, we taste four wines from the estate: a Negra Mole rosé sparkling wine, Sauvignon Blanc, rosé and a red made from the indigenous Negra Mole grape. Together they offer a glimpse into the different styles and varieties being produced beside the river today.

Wine, Landscape & History

What makes this experience special is the connection between everything around us. The wines are not separated from their surroundings; the river, vineyards and history all become part of the tasting itself. It is a slower and more atmospheric way to discover Algarve wine culture.
