Algarve: A Private Olive Oil, Wine & Verjus Tasting

At a boutique family-run estate near Silves, you'll step inside the winery for an intimate introduction to three products shaped by the surrounding land: wine, extra virgin olive oil and verjus. Visits are private to each party and hosted by the estate’s owners, resident oenologist or sommelière, giving the experience a personal and unhurried feel.

The Experience

Behind the Estate

We begin with a guided visit through the winery, learning how the estate produces its wines, olive oils and verjus. Rather than focusing on a single product, the experience reveals how these different flavours are created side by side within one small Algarve estate.

Three Olive Oils

Olive oil becomes an important part of the tasting, with three estate olive oils served for comparison. Tasted alongside bread and a small snack, it is a simple way to notice the differences in character, aroma and flavour while experiencing the oils where they are produced.

Wine & Verjus

The tasting also includes at least four premium wines together with the estate’s verjus. This combination makes the experience feel broader than a traditional olive oil tasting, bringing several expressions of the Algarve landscape together at one table.
