In the countryside of Moncarapacho, you'll settle into the olive grove of a working Algarve farm for an unhurried picnic surrounded by trees and open landscape. Here, artisanal olive oil has become part of the rhythm of the land, making this a simple but beautiful way to experience one of the Algarve’s most traditional ingredients.

The Experience

A Quiet Place in the Olive Grove

We choose our place among the trees and slow the afternoon down. The setting is informal and peaceful, allowing us to enjoy the farm at our own pace rather than following a structured tour or itinerary.

A Picnic Basket for Two

Our basket is prepared for two and filled with a relaxed selection of flavours to share. There is a bottle of white or rosé wine, local charcuterie and mixed cheese, olives, pâté or fish paste, fruit or pumpkin preserve, thin toast and savoury or sweet potato chips.

Olive Oil from the Farm

Two small bottles of the estate’s olive oil are included in the basket, connecting the picnic directly to the surrounding grove. At the end of the experience, we can visit the farm shop and discover more of the olive oils produced here.
